Lay practitioner information
Thank you for your interest in Homeodynamics LLC. Homeodynamics actively encourages Lay practitioners. However, we need to differentiate between Lay practitioners and the general public. To help you understand the thought processes involved in the differentiation, here’s a guideline to how we approach this issue.
Lay practitioners have been an important part of Homeopathy and energy medicine since their inception. From Boenninghausen to Vithoulkas, naming two prominent people, Lay practitioners have made substantial contributions to the homeopathic profession. The best Lay practitioners demonstrate a dedication to the profession by their self-disciplined study of the field. It is this type of work that we like to encourage.
However, the term Lay practitioner is not a well-defined one. As Lay practitioners are not licensed, differentiating between a practitioner and the general public is a subjective process. For us, the primary difference between a Lay practitioner and the general interested public is their work with others in some professional capacity – professional meaning that they have dedicated a substantial part of their life and time to the study and execution of the science and art of energetic therapies. We look for activities like running a study group, or regularly attending one, going to seminars, possession of a substantial library of books in the field – and a good familiarity with the ideas contained therein and most significantly, working with others on a regular basis – not just treatment of self or family.
From a business point of view, ordering a substantial number of remedies, and/or ordering on a regular basis, provides some evidence that the remedies are not just for personal use. This allows us to offer the remedies at a professional price without having to impose minimum orders. It also offers you, the professional, the ability to support yourself as you interact with your clientele.
Hopefully this provides you a brief guideline to your account application process. If you have any questions about the process, please feel free to drop us a note or give us a call.
